When should I start to see results?
Results can be seen immediately.
How long do Dermal Fillers last and how often should I get them?
Results are dependent on each client, area and product but results can last anywhere between 6-24 months. For example, lips tend to last around 9-18 months and cheeks somewhere between 18-24 months. Please discuss with your clinician to find the frequency that suits you.
How do I take care of my face after Dermal Fillers?
You may notice some redness, pin pricks and swelling after the procedure, with an expected downtime of 2-3 days. Take care to avoid wearing make-up for at least the next 12 hours following treatment, and to avoid alcohol, vigorous exercise, sunbathing and extreme temperatures for the next 14 days. Your clinician will provide full aftercare advice following your treatment.
What is a Dermal Fillers?
Most Dermal Fillers - including those used at Alpha Aesthetics - are a clear, sterile gel made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring molecule found in all skin and soft tissue. The gel is injected right into the skin via needle or cannula to provide instant results.
How are Dermal Fillers given?
Treatment is given with a needle or cannula, dependent on the area. We can apply topical anaesthetics to minimise discomfort in appropriate clients.
What brands do Alpha Aesthetics use?
We use various brands including Juvederm™️ and Teoxane™️, depending on the area being treated.
